I bought the Musical Pacifier to teach a preemie to suck. They have problems when they are born premature. It takes awhile for us to teach them to suck. I volunteer for an adoption agency and me, along with 24 other families, take babies from the hospitals and we care for them until they are adopted. Their ages range from 18 hours old to 4 months. We do get quite a lot of preemies and they all have the same issue. We also get babies that are coming off of drugs or alcohol and they have the same issues.
