Safety Turtle is a portable alarm system providing an additional layer of protection for children, pets and elderly adults around water hazards such as pools, hot tubs, bath tubs, freshwater lakes, boats, ponds and rivers. Safety Turtle is a unique pool alarm providing an effective "last line of defense" to protect your children. Simply lock the Turtle wristband around your child's wrist. If he or she falls into the water, and the Safety Turtle wristband is immersed a loud alarm will sound at the Base Station and will continue until reset. Your child is protected even while the pool is in use or is being cleaned. The Turtle wristband locks securely around your child's wrist, using the key provided, and are permanently sealed and rugged to withstand children's play. Please be aware that Safety Turtle is not suitable for use in seawater. When using with salt chlorinated pools, the Base Station should be located poolside, several feet above the water. If you also require alarming in the house, you should purchase the Commercial/Extended Range system. Please be aware that Safety Turtle is limited on Freshwater Shorelines

Each unit must be used with the same color wristband. So if you have 3 kids each child must wear the same color wristbands, this is to ensure that if your neighbor has the same Safety Turtle Alarm system it prevents your base unit from receiving transmitter signals from neighboring homes. If you are aware of your neighbors alarm system then please find out what color they have and purchase a different color. Pet velcro adapter must be same color as the childrens' wristband also.
